Good afternoon both parents and children!

Today has been the final day of 2P in campamentos de inglés en Prades, we have spent all the morning preparing the closing and practising the performance with the kids. Our last breakfast was followed by an hour of English Class where the students have been preparing the song of the term and also, in class 20, the oldest ones have been playing the theatre play they showed later in front of all the parents.

The ceremony have started with the classification of the Olympic teams and with the triumph of the Geese. Later on, the teachers have given two diplomas in each class, one for the most improved student and another for the best in class. And, before singing and dancing the songs of the term, the monitors have given the awards for the Best Mate, the Best Athlete and the Best Sportive Spirit.

That is how we finished this fantastic term. Thank you to all the students for this two weeks and thank you also to the parents for the confidence you put on us.

Have a nice summer and see you next year!

Good Morning Parents!

It’s been a terrific days, we’va had so much fun, so we woke up quickly in order to take advantatge of the day. First and second sitting went to the dinning room at 08:45, while third and forth were tiding up their rooms, since we need to pack our luggage. Tomorrow we are leaving! It’s too bad. After a huge breakfast kids were fully prepared for the first challenge of the day, the final exam.

We had a special visit in this last pool. Two Cupidos came all through the path and surprise us with a trumpet performance and a nice dance. Later on, profesional singer sang a beautiful song about love and frienship and also two of our students sang “Wonderwall” a cappella. An afternoon with a diferent routine was waiting for us.

When the finals were over we went back to the blocks to take a shower and prepare all the love that they were going to give that night. We had dinner in sittings, as usual, and at 21:45h kids started to enter into the disco. It was all covered by red and black. kids were amazed! Kids were dancing, huging, smiling… and some of them even cry! It was so emotive.

Good night parents! See you tomorrow!

Good morning parents!

We are here again in campamentos de Inglés en Prades, enjoying the last campsite hours with our students, monitors and teachers. We woke up with an amazing sunrise, and the monitors brought up a special surprise to the kids!! We had breakfast with them in their rooms and, after we were full of orange juice, we brushed our teeths. At 10 am we heard from the loudspeakers “You have two minutes to go to class”. At  half past eleven, the students had some break to refresh their minds and went back to their respective classes.

At quarter past six, we had the last Olympic’s rotation, all teams competed again to get the maximum points in the final stages of this activity. On Friday we will know who wins the Olympics competition counting the points in the rotations, the World Championship and the English Challenge.

After the sports time, we started to get ready for the night party. Shower time and dressing up to enter into the fantastic world of Dragon Ball Z. Goku and its team arrived to Prades to fight against Buu and Cell, but San Gohan and Krilin dropped dead. That is why Goku ask all the kids to help him finding the Dragon Balls around the house of Prades.
By teams, we all had to look for the 10 different places where we would find the balls by reinforce the teamwork in an orientation challenge.

Find out what will happen today in our next post tomorrow! Check all the photos in Flickr and also the songs in our Spotify Playlist “English Summer”.

Have a nice day! #HAPPYEnglishSummer

Good afternoon parents!

Yesterday we had Oscars Night here in campamentos Inglés en Prades. The day started as the other ones did. We woke up at 8:30 am and went to have breakfast back to normality. Kids went to class at 10 o’clock until lunch time. After lunch, while kids  were in class again, all the monitors transform our dining room into a high class restaurant where the Oscars were placed.

The bell rang to let us know that it was pool time, but the oldest kids stayed in a class to prepare the Oscars for the monitors.

We said goodbye to one of the latest pools of the term and went to have a snack (chocolate cake! yummie!!) and had the 6th Olympic’s rotation. We only played one sport because kids needed time to prepare their night suit before 8:30 pm, when the gala dinner had to start.

Before going to sleep, we all sang together the song of the term “Rather be” and step by step, the high class restaurant we were in, came back to our beloved dining room.

And tomorrow, the Dragon’s Ball party, stay tunned!

Good morning! Sorry for the delay, we have been very busy this week, but here we are again!

First, you have to know that on Monday we had “Reverse Breakfast” in campamentos de Inglés en Prades, were everyone had to wear up as much strange as possible. For example, many kids were wearing the trousers as a t-shirt or the socks in their hands. But it wasn’t the end, they also talked the other way around and start the breakfast queue from the kitchen instead of the entering door.

Then, it started the lesson, they learn about the mechanic of the cars and how it is built. To put in practice what they learned, the teacher gave them the challenge of bulding their own car physically.

The monitors worked hard to create a real enviroment that brought us to the most traditional towns in China. We arrived to the Emperor’s Palace, where he told us that he needed to find a brave and intelligent husband for his daughter. In the territory there were two candidates that fight against each other to get marriage with the young Chinese princess. But, before the fight, everyone was invited to have dinner and play different games that the Emperor prepared for us.

Good morning everyone!

Yesterday was a special day, Campamentos de Ingles Prades it was Sunday we didn’t have neither English class nor Olympics’. We woke up at 9 am with spectacular sunrise, and went directly to have breakfast. After that all students had to tidy up their rooms with their monitors and got ready to have the room’s inspection.

Once pupils got a good mark in the room inspection, they wore up and went to the different field’s and courts to have the “athletics games” with their teams. While some team players were working on their own tests, others had cheered up in front of the Dj’s table to get some extra points…

At half past one llegó la hora de comer “Primero y segundoooo turno a comer,” First Second sitting go to the dining room please”. In the afternoon, before swimming pool, we needed to prepare for the Rock&Roll party. Therefore our monitors made a gender separation between boys and girls, to get ready for the official “Grease Dance”. Also the boy’s drew and thought different’s sign advertisements to put in the karts.

Once the mass have finished all kids went to their rooms to have a shower and get ready to the Rock&Roll party. Some specials guests came from the America 50’s, Danny&Olivia and show us how many steps we needed to follow in order to fall in love with some “unique girl”.

Again Basile’s team surprise us with a traditional 50’s American dinner with some onions, hot doogs aaaaand delicious hamburgers. After all, most of the boy’s went to the hall room to see the final Football World Cup. In the other hand some girls stayed in the garden dancing the traditional rock&roll baile. That’s all for today.

Ladies and Gentleman’s don’t forget to follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Flickr. See you sooon!!!

Good afternoon everybody!

Yesterday we had a unique day in campamentos de Inglés en Prades: we went out to Port Aventura and Costa Caribe. Even the ones who stayed at Prades had a fantastic relaxing day full of activities and time to have fun with their friends.

We left early in the morning, at half past eight and arrived to the Park at ten o’clock more or less. The trip was calm but full of adrenaline and motivation.

Every group had their particular experiences but for sure all the ride’s tails were full of voices singing English Summer songs. Everyone heard that our summercamp was there!
Meanwhil, the ones who were at home had hours of pool, games and sports. And they also broke the routine changing the space where having lunch and dinner, to leave for a day the typical dinning room.

At ten o’clock everybody was again at home and went directly to sleep, but not without explaining to everyone they came across to all the adventures they have had.

For sure all your kids have told you their experience during Saturday, but you must see some photos in Flickr. There is just happiness in there!

Good night :)

Good morning parents!

The jungle reached campamentos de inglés en Prades on Friday, this is why we heard all day Tarzan’s movie soundtrack around the house.
We woke up a little bit later (at 8:30 am) because we have finished Froggy Games. Kids went to have breakfast, where we celebrate Patricia’s birthday :) and went straight to English class. It was also Hi Five, so kids had to clap their hands during the day whith everyone they run into.

It was the exam day, so kids spent all the morning reviewing what they had learned during the week. Teachers were decided to enforce all the knowledge they have teached. Even the kids were motivated and studied in the garden during their free time.

When kids finished their call time and had their snack, sat down to receive the jungle man. Jane, the explorer, arrived first, she came into our group during her expedition about the fauna of the Amazon zone. While she was explaining her job, appeared Tarzán across the forest and explain us, with signs and using Jane’s translation, that he had lost his mum and need our help to find her.
With this information, kids were ready to participate in the night party. After the Olympics, each monitor gave to his group some questions about the the house of Prades, to make them know more about it. The more answers they had right, the more clues they had to find Tarzan’s mum, called Chita.

Nobody left without having a photo in that wild enviroment, nobody left without a smile on their face. Thanks to all the kids to make every day better than the last one! Check our photos in Flickr and don’t hesitate to leave comments also in our Facebook and Twitter!

Ladies and gentleman, welcome to the village of Prades placed in the Far Far West.

Yesterday, in campamentos de inglés en Prades, we had official video day. On theearly morning, Vincenç and Toni came to record the first faces of the kids at 8:00 am. Then, instead of playing Froggy Games, all the summer camp went to the disco to dance. It was a funny way to wake up and start the day full of energy.

From there on, all the students had to wear the official white t-shirt, because, after the english classes, it was time to have the photo by monitor and the overall photo.

During the English time, some classes prepare a new and funny activity to get to learn about the clothes, their structure, production and characteristics. What was this activity? A ‘Fashion Show’ where each pupil had to prepare a clothes design, wear it up and walk down the catwalk in front of the class.

You will find them in Facebook. All the hour of the swimming pool was full of videos and photos that you will see the last day on the summer camp. All kids were constantly following the camera inside and outside the water, thank God the GoPro was water proof.

We changed the afternoon activities, instead of Olympics, we had clubs: baseball, horses, aromatic plants, rollers, Nightline (an activity in where kids have to follow a chain and overtake different obstacle), karts and Team-it, a game where the kids had to help each other to reach the goals that the monitor purpose to the entire team. After this frenetic half day, it was time to have a shower and get ready for the Far West party yiiiiiha!

Ladies and gentleman, the show is going to start!m Please switch off your phones and enjoy it.

That is how we arrived at the end of the story. He had to leave the Far West and come back to our century. It wass time to go to bed with the biggest smile and say good-bye to the camera and to another incredible day.

Don’t forget to take a look to the photos we have upload in Flickr!

Until a new post, have a nice day!

Good morning everyone!

Yesterday was officially the English Day in campamentos de Inglés en Prades. Classes continued as normal, the more advanced classes had special lessons about Irish culture, subject that was continued during the night party. And why did they choose Ireland? Because most of the staff of teachers are native from this country and have English as their first language.

Another activity that the kids started yesterday was the English Challenge, in which they receive points for their sport team by working on English exercises the teachers give them. They also receive points with the World Championship, with individual competitions in tennis, badminton, chess and ping-pong.

During the swimming pool, the slip and slipe was opened again and the kids could slide over it while the others were dancing and playing all around the pool. When it finished, we started the Olympics with the 2nd and 3rd rotation.

At this point, there is only one thing to talk about: The Pot of Gold party. It started with a theatre play with some of the teachers dressed up as leprechauns, rainbows, potatoes and snakes. The story was the following:
– Dougal was a leprechaun that had been robbed by a maleficent witch and her snakes. They stole Dougals gold, an important treasure from his dad, and that was why all the kids had to help the leprechaun to get it back -.
There were 8 events distributed around the sport fields. Each one was related with an item from Irish culture such as the traditional dance called The Riverdance, the typical food (the potato) or their particular language with the most relevant words.

As you parents can see, we started a day in Prades and we finished it in Ireland. Check our Flickr to see the photos we took during the day and leave all the comments you want.

That’s all for today. Tomorrow there will be more English, more fun and more sports!
